In this tutorial you will learn how to show "Kaminfeuer Comprehensive Edition" on your TV.
It runs on Windows, Android and FireOS.

Alternative Option via YouTube
Your TV should have an HDMI input. This is the case with almost every newer TV.
You should also have a Windows notebook or a Windows tablet. This makes connecting to your TV particularly easy. But you can also use your desktop PC. The computer you use should have an HDMI or Mini DisplayPort output. You can find pictures of the respective ports below.
Now you need a suitable cable to connect your computer to your TV.
If you use an HDMI or Mini DisplayPort cable, the sound is usually also transmitted to your TV.
Modern TVs also allow streaming from the PC without a cable via WiFi. Press the Windows+K key to try this out. If the animation stutters, it may be that the WiFi router is too far away. Connecting with a cable is the better option then.
If the screen content of the PC does not appear on your TV, the screen resolution of the PC may not be supported by the TV. Therefore, change the resolution on your PC to try it out. Most TVs can display a resolution of 1366x768 pixels or 1920x1080 pixels. (Right-click on an empty area on the desktop and then select "Display settings" from the context menu to change the resolution)
Alternatively, you can connect your PC to your TV via a VGA port, provided both devices have one. This is an older connector format, but it does not transmit sound.
Fireplace on USB stick: There is no way to show our fireplace on a TV from a memory card or USB stick. It is a computer program that cannot be played directly from the TV.
PC sticks and small workstation PCs with Windows are increasingly being connected to TVs. They can be attached behind the TV to save space. This is a useful solution, especially for watching TV streaming services - or for using the TV as a media center. If you use such a device, you only need to install the fireplace on it. Make sure that the device meets the system requirements.
If your TV supports WiFi, you can transfer the screen content of your Android device using the "Screen Mirroring" function.
If you have a smart TV with the Android TV operating system, simply install our fireplace app on it (download here).
Alternatively, enter the following URL in your web browser: getk6.jmmgc.com
Otherwise, you will need a Google Chromecast. This costs around €40. Connect it to the HDMI port on your TV and select this port on the TV as the video input. Set your Android device to show its screen content on the Chromecast. Then start our fireplace app.
If you use an Amazon Fire TV Stick, get our fireplace app from Amazon.
If none of the options work and your TV has a web browser or the YouTube app, you can play our 90-minute fireplace video instead.
