Provides a character table with ASCII codes.

Click on a character to view its ASCII code. Double-click it to copy it to the clipboard. Right-click a character to see more options.

Symbols and Emojis

▶ Extras – Symbols and Emojis

Allows you to copy frequent symbols and emojis to the clipboard via double-click.

Extended Clipboard

▶ Extras – Extended Clipboard

You can store up to 16 texts or images at the same time in the extended clipboard. To do this, select text or an image and copy it to the Windows clipboard. Now select the “New” option in the extended clipboard so that the item is placed here. You can use the “Copy” button to copy stored elements back to the Windows clipboard and from there to other applications.

Activate the “Save” option to keep dropped items for the next time you use the extended clipboard.

Data Volume Calculator

▶ Wizards – Data Volume Calculator

This assistant helps you to convert amounts of data into different units.

Choose a source unit, such as KB, and then enter a value, such as 990. You will then see the entered value in other units, e.g. bits, bytes and megabytes are displayed. Both binary and decimal calculation methods are used (1024 bytes = 1 KB and 1000 bytes = 1 KB).

Data volumes of up to 99 terabytes can be calculated.

Add Bookmark

▶ Bookmarks – Add Bookmark

This function adds the selected object or any Internet address to the “Bookmarks” list, which allows quick access to it.

You can also save a phone number as bookmark. Under “What do you want to add?” select the option “An Internet address”. In the “Internet address” field enter “tel:” and the desired phone number behind it.

On “Bookmarks – Manage Bookmarks” you can edit or remove bookmarks at any time.

Notes & To Do

Here you can store notes and to-dos. They are saved automatically when the window is closed and reloaded the next time the function is called.

Notes & To-Do

You can send tasks from the to-do list via email. To do this, an e-mail client must be installed on the PC.

Compare Folders

▶ Extras – Compare Folders

Using this function you can compare the contents of two folders.

The second file window must be activated. Switch to the appropriate folder so that the folders whose contents you want to compare are open in the left and right file window. Now select “Extras – Compare Folders”.

All objects that are obviously identical in both file windows are marked. The name of the object and, in the case of files, also the file size and the SHA256 checksum are used as comparison criteria.

NOTE: The contents of sub-folders are not compared with one another.

View Webcam

▶ Photos – Show Webcam

Here you can display a webcam of your choice. The image will update automatically.

Either select a predefined webcam from “Available webcams” or enter the URL to the webcam directly (you must provide the direct path to the image file, not the web page of the webcam).

General:
Here you can define general settings.

Updates:
Here you can specify whether Operation Center should remind you to check for updates once a month.

Applications:
You can select alternative applications as Editor, for showing photos and as FTP client here.

Default Settings:
You can reset the settings of Operation Center here.

Internet Access:
Optimise the Internet functionality of Operation Center for your connection or disable Internet features.

Look & Feel:
Customise the design and activate or deactivate sounds here.

Show Photos:
Switch the thumbnail cache of the “Show Photos” function on or off here.

Plug Ins:
Manage your plug ins for Operation Center here.

Program Start:
Define which folders shall be opened on program start.

Language:
Change the language of the user interface und adjust the date format here. Available languages are German and English.

Use Custom Applications

▶ Extras – Options

You have the option to replace the internal editor, the “Show Photos” function and the FTP client with other applications. To do this, open “Extras – Options” and select the “Applications” tab.

You can select any other application here.
