Introduction
Introduction to Operation Center
Operation Center is a comprehensive file management software that will make it much easier to work with files and folders.
If you use two file windows you can copy or move files easily using drag & drop. In the “Layouts” menu you have some predefined settings for the user interace. With the practical “Tasks & Preview”-bar you can access frequently used functions and view files without having to open them.
Operation Center can also be easily used with a touch screen. To get the ideal settings choose the option “Load optimal settings for touch operation” in the welcome window or under “Extras – Options – Look & Feel”. If you like to return from a help topic to the overview on a touchscreen, just tap three times in quick succession into the help window.
Many utility programs and wizards, for example for photo management, for editing texts and images or for the maintanance of your PC round off this application package and offer good solutions for almost every occasion.

Users with Poor Eyesight
When starting Operation Center for the first time, visually impaired users can activate the option “Support for users with poor eyesight”.
This makes it easier to distinguish the active file window from the inactive one. In addition, grid lines are displayed in the file windows, which should allow better orientation.
If necessary, you can switch both features on and off at any time under “Extras – Options”. The settings are named “High contrast of the title bar of the active file window” and “Show grid lines in file windows”.
Operation on a Touch Screen
When you start Operation Center for the first time and under “Extras – Options” and here the “Look & Feel” tab, you have the option of optimising the program for operation on touchscreens.
To do this, click on “Optimal settings for touch operation”.
The optimal settings include, among other things, a larger font in the file windows and the activation of the simplified selection of objects.
