The Editor
The Editor
You can edit text files, richtext documents (*.rtf), CSV files and files of other formats using the Editor.
In the “View” menu you will find the reading mode, which shows the opened document in an enlarged and legible form.
In the “Insert” menu you will find functions with which you can insert special characters and images, among other things.
In the “Extras” menu you will find functions for text correction, for sorting lists and for inserting special characters.
In the “Format” menu you will find functions with which you can adapt the appearance of your text.
In the “Professional Editing” bar (see “Layout – Professional Editing”) you will find advanced functions for editing texts and lists.
The editor can also open and write UTF-8 encoded text files. In the “Open” and “Save” windows, select “Text files UTF-8 encoded (*.txt)” in the “File type” selection field and then select the appropriate file so that this encoding is taken into account.
Text Modules
▶ Editor: Extras – Text Modules
Here you can define frequently recurring text elements as text modules, which you can copy to the Windows clipboard with a double-click and paste into any document.
Edit an Image
This function allows you to edit images.
For example, you can rotate an image, adjust its brightness and colors, or apply filters to it.
When you make an edit, the change is first shown as a preview. For performance reasons, this usually appears in reduced image quality. Choose “Apply” to permanently apply the change to the image in high quality.
You can also crop images or remove annoying artifacts with the correction stamp.
Click the floppy disk icon in the top right to save a copy of the modified photo. Please note that the EXIF data of the original image will not be included in the copy.
